You Can Skip the Cost If…
- ✓Free fleet-wide Starlink Wi-Fi for Flying Club members on equipped aircraft — Virgin Atlantic became the first UK airline to commit to free, fleet-wide Starlink Wi-Fi. First customer flight launched early May 2026 (VS153 LHR-JFK on the A350). Free for all Flying Club members (loyalty enrollment is free); accelerated rollout announced April 2026.
Paid WiFi on Legacy Aircraft
While Virgin Atlantic is transitioning to free Starlink Wi-Fi, paid options remain available on aircraft not yet equipped with the new system. This includes some Boeing 787 and Airbus A330neo aircraft awaiting their Starlink retrofit, as well as the older A330ceo fleet which will not receive Starlink and is being retired.

Reported prices for a full-flight pass range from approximately £18.99 to £20.99, while an hourly pass might cost around £5.99 to £6.99, and a messaging-only option is available for about £3. Passengers can view and purchase available Wi-Fi packages through the onboard portal.
Avoiding WiFi Costs
To ensure access to free, high-speed internet, passengers are encouraged to join Virgin Atlantic's Flying Club before their flight, as membership is free. This grants complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi on all equipped aircraft. For flights on aircraft not yet upgraded to Starlink, Upper Class passengers receive complimentary full internet. Passengers in other cabins on these aircraft should check the onboard portal for current pricing and package options.
