Complimentary Messaging for All

All Lufthansa passengers can enjoy free FlyNet Messaging on mainline flights worldwide. This service allows unlimited sending and receiving of messages, including photos, via popular chat applications like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram.

To access this free messaging, passengers simply need to log in with their Miles & More number or a Lufthansa Group Travel ID, both of which are free to create.

Free Premium Access on Current FlyNet

For flights operating with the existing Viasat-powered FlyNet system, certain passengers receive complimentary premium Wi-Fi access. HON Circle members are granted free premium FlyNet when logged in with their Miles & More or Travel ID. Additionally, First Class passengers, including those with connecting First Class flights, receive complimentary premium FlyNet access via a voucher.

Future Free Starlink for Loyalty Members

With the ongoing Starlink rollout, Lufthansa Group is making high-speed internet free for all Miles & More loyalty customers and Travel ID users, regardless of their travel class. This means that once an aircraft is equipped with Starlink, eligible passengers in Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class will receive complimentary access.
