The question 'is ITA Airways WiFi free?' has a nuanced answer that depends on your loyalty status, credit card, and aircraft. This page cuts through it.

STILL TRACKING

We're still verifying ITA Airways's current free WiFi policy.

Complimentary Messaging Access

ITA Airways provides a complimentary 30-minute connection for passengers to send messages using their preferred instant messaging applications. This free service is designed for text-based communication and does not support the sending or receiving of photos and videos.

Free WiFi for Premium Passengers

Business Class passengers on long-haul flights, or on international flights lasting more than three hours operated by an A321neo, receive a voucher for free messaging service for the entire duration of their flight. This allows them to stay connected with messaging apps throughout their journey.

Future Free Access with Starlink

As the Starlink high-speed internet system rolls out across the fleet in 2026, ITA Airways plans to offer free WiFi in all travel classes for passengers who are registered with a Travel ID or hold loyalty status. This initiative aims to enhance the overall passenger experience with broader complimentary connectivity.
