Starlink is Free on Equipped Aircraft
Qatar Airways provides its high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi service completely free of charge on all equipped Boeing 777, Airbus A350, and Boeing 787 aircraft. There are no pricing tiers or paid plans for Starlink connectivity on these flights.
Accessing Free Connectivity
To access the complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, passengers simply connect to the 'Oryx Comms' Wi-Fi network onboard. Privilege Club members can authenticate their membership, while non-members can enroll during their initial 45 minutes of free access to gain full flight connectivity.
Legacy WiFi on Non-Starlink Flights
On aircraft not yet equipped with Starlink, such as some Airbus A380s or A330s, Qatar Airways offers a different Wi-Fi service. For these flights, Privilege Club members receive one hour of complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and Student Club members enjoy unlimited free internet. For other passengers, Wi-Fi passes are available for purchase, starting at $10, with a 20% discount if bought before the flight.
