Complimentary Portal Access
All passengers on WiFi-equipped Indonesia AirAsia flights can access the ROKKI portal (www.rokki.com) for free using their personal mobile devices. This portal offers a range of in-flight entertainment, including movies, music, travel guides, and shopping catalogues.
Limited Free Connectivity
While the ROKKI portal is free, general internet access is restricted. Historically, AirAsia has offered a basic free chat or messaging tier on equipped aircraft. This typically allows for limited use of chat applications like WhatsApp and WeChat, and some social media platforms.
The Catch
The free access does not extend to full web browsing, email, or data-intensive activities. To access the broader internet and use more data, passengers must purchase a paid WiFi package. Any free data allowances, such as the historical 3MB for loyalty members, are generally small and quickly consumed.
