Wondering what Asiana Airlines charges for in-flight WiFi? Tiers, day passes, and every legitimate way to pay less — or nothing at all.
Still Tracking
We're still verifying Asiana Airlines's current WiFi facts. The FAQs below cover general industry patterns — for Asiana Airlines-specific reports, search a flight or check the data hub.
Current WiFi Pricing
Before the widespread rollout of free Starlink Wi-Fi, Asiana Airlines offered paid internet access on its A350 fleet. Passengers could purchase plans for 1 hour at USD 11.95, 3 hours for USD 16.95, or an unlimited use option for USD 21.95.
Value and Service Expectations
The value of the paid Wi-Fi service varied, as performance could be restricted or unstable due to factors like satellite coverage or weather conditions, potentially impacting high-bandwidth activities. With the ongoing introduction of free Starlink Wi-Fi, passengers on equipped aircraft will experience significantly faster and more reliable connectivity, suitable for streaming and other data-intensive tasks, without additional cost.
Accessing and Paying for Service
For the existing paid Wi-Fi, passengers could purchase access directly through their mobile devices after boarding an equipped A350 aircraft. This process typically involved connecting to the 'OZ Wi-Fi' network, accessing the Asiana Portal page, selecting a plan, and completing payment through a PanaSky account. As the free Starlink service expands, the primary way to avoid costs will be to fly on aircraft that have been upgraded with the new complimentary system.
